Tennessee returns to action in the NCAA Baseball Tournament Chapel Hill Regional on Saturday against the VCU Rams. The elimination game will be interesting to say the least.

The Vols won the only meeting back in 2001, but now meet on the big stage. Tennessee lost to East Carolina, 7-3, in 14 innings on Friday, while VCU also lost to host North Carolina, 8-0. Both are looking to survive with no room for error.

The final eight teams standing will take part in the 2026 men’s College World Series, which will be played from Friday, June 12 through either Sunday, June 21 or Monday, June 22.
