The Tennessee Titans, like the other 31 teams in the league, are eagerly awaiting the start of the NFL draft on Thursday, when all signs point to them selecting quarterback Cam Ward to be the new face of the franchise.
But that's not all that's happening in Nashville this week. Head coach Brian Callahan welcomed players back to the facility on Tuesday as they began their offseason program at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park.
With this portion of the offseason program being voluntary, players are not required to attend until the official minicamp in June. However, a large portion of the roster is expected to attend, hoping to improve on their 3-14 record from 2024.
Callahan is also looking forward to a second chance in the offseason program to incorporate the changes he learned from his first season as head coach.
"I learned a lot, and I will change a handful of things," Callahan told Jim Wyatt. "I'm really excited about some of the things we're going to do (in the offseason), how we're going to do it.
After a disappointing campaign in 2024, any changes made could address areas that the entire coaching staff is looking to improve, which could help translate to success on game day.
