Missouri (19-9, 9-6 SEC) defeated No. 22 Tennessee (20-8, 10-5 SEC), 73-69, Tuesday at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Missouri.

The loss ended the Vols' four-game winning streak.

Tennessee led, 29-26, at halftime.

Ja'Kobi Gillespie totaled 19 points. six assists, four rebounds, two steals and one block. He converted 6-of-21 field goal attempts and 3-of-12 free throw attempts. Gillespie was one of four Vols to score 10-plus points against the Tigers.

Nate Ament recorded 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals, while Felix Okpara had 15 points, including 11 in the second half. He also posted eight rebounds, one block and one steal, while Bishop Boswell finished with 13 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal for the Vols, who outrebounded Missouri, 42-30, in the contest and forced eight turnovers by the Tigers.

Missouri's T.O. Barrett, a guard, led all scorers with 28 points. He also totaled five rebounds, two assists and one steal for the Tigers, who scored 23 points off of 15 points off of Tennessee turnovers.
