My own Rankings: (excluding the obvious Cowboys picks of Elliott and Prescott)

1. The Bears - great draft, seems to have hit big on early picks
a. Center - Cody Whitehair, a solid starting interior lineman who can continue to have success at C or G for years to come.
b. OLB - Leonard Floyd, some thought he was a reach at the time but has turned out to improving greatly with I believe 7 sacks in the second half of the season.
c. RB - Jordan Howard, great fantasy pick up, averaging 5 ypc, and over 1000 yds in his rookie season. Appears to be a steal from round 4 in the draft. Gives the Bears a two headed RB in Langford/Howard.

2. The Falcons - great job at beginning to rebuild defense to go with top offense in league
a. Safety - Keanu Neal, already leads team in tackles and forced fumbles
b. ILB - Deion Jones, second in tackles behind Neal, and has 3 interceptions already, 1 of those for a TD
c. CB - Brian Poole, starting at nickleback, doing a good job so far, has a sack, and several fumble recoveries.

3. The Chargers - another team that needed to get stronger on D quickly
a. OLB - Joey Bosa, in play for rookie of the year on D, sack total goes up weekly. As good as he was cranked up to be. A pro-bowler for years to come.
b. ILB - Jatavis Brown, missed for games due to injury, but still has 3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. A solid starter from the 5th round of the draft.
c. TE - Hunter Henry, already proven to be the replacement for Antonio Gates. Has 7 TDs and over 400 yds playing second fiddle to Gates this his rookie season. Fantasy players are going to love this guy.

4. The Chiefs - did well with one super starter on each side of the ball
a. WR/KR - Tyreek Hill, wow ... unranked rookie who leads the league in fantasy points as a WR and return specialist. 10 TDs from RB, WR, and Return positions. Dude can do anything from anywhere.
b. DT - Chris Jones, was eased into lineup, but now shows the speed off the ball, good leverage, and strength the Chiefs needed on the interior of the DL. Should be around a long time making their super D even tougher.

Dallas by far.

True they got lucky with Prescott. Nobody knew he would be what he is. However, the same can be said for us and David Johnson.

Regarding Ezekiel, that was a better pick than it appears on the surface. Because its very very very risky to draft a RB in the top 10 anymore. But they pulled the trigger, and are now being rewarded for it.

Helps that Dallas has the best O-Line in football and Zeke isn't touched until he's 10 yards down the field.

Thats certainly true. David would be a 2,000 yard rusher in Dallas. But thats not to say Zeke is a scrub if he were on any other team. I will pay Zeke the respect he deserves, hes a very physical player. He blasts guys in pass protection. He has excellent vision. Good balance.
Hes a darn good RB and Dallas makes him an elite one.

I agree...Zeke is definitely a great talent, but Dallas' O-Line makes him look like a HOF. His jump cuts and hurdles are ridiculous, but I still think if DJ was behind that line he'd be the clear cut MVP this year with ridiculous numbers.

Yep. Take nothing away from Zeke who destroyed Alabama's #1 defense as a 19 year old. Kid is special.

Normally desperate teams are forced to start rookies due to not having anyone else.

If the rookies are good they can replace some veteran immediately
If u wait few years before they can contribute the draft class sucks
u cant resign all of them
Then u miss always some pieces in the roster

One does hope that your 1st and 2nd round picks contribute immediately but any help from the 3rd rd on is a bonus.

Who knows, you cannot judge a draft till a few years :)

Overall yes, but you can tell who hit immediately with some picks and that they are going to be good starters for years. I will list some of the teams who hit a big starter from this last draft:

DL: DeForest Buckner, San Francisco 49ers
DL: Noah Spence, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

DL: Jonathan Bullard, Chicago Bears
DL: Javon Hargrave, Pittsburgh Steelers

LB: Myles Jack, Jacksonville Jaguars
S: Darian Thompson, New York Giants

S: Karl Joseph, Oakland Raiders
WR: Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints

OT: Ronnie Stanley, Baltimore Ravens
C: Ryan Kelly, Indianapolis Colts
QB: Carson Wentz, Eagles
OT: Jack Conklin, Titans
OG: Laremy Tunsil, Dolphins

But is better have rookies able to contribute from the first season

And there have been many a rookie QB who looked great early and then ends up being a bust. Griffin, Freeman, Young and people are going to grade a draft now when even the most important position takes time to evaluate
