TBT 2025 matchups: The Ville, La Familia could meet again in tournament quarterfinals

The Ville, Louisville's team in The Basketball Tournament featuring many former Cardinals players, and La Familia, Lexington's TBT squad made up of former Kentucky Wildcats players, can potentially meet in a TBT quarterfinal for the second year in a row.

The winner from the Louisville region and the Lexington region will meet in the quarterfinals. The Ville, if it keeps winning, has earned home-court advantage all the way through TBT's title game because it sold 4,000 tickets faster than any region. Other quarterfinal locations (if the host teams meet) will be based on which host sells 4,000 tickets to their region first.

Last year, La Familia defeated The Ville, 70-61, in the quarterfinals at Freedom Hall in front of a record-breaking crowd of 13,509.

• Date: Saturday, July 19 to Wednesday, July 23
• Tickets: Prices for all four sessions (seven games) start at $136 on Ticketmaster.

• Louisville winner vs. Lexington winner
• Kansas City winner vs. Wichita winner
• Syracuse winner vs. Indianapolis winner
• West Virginia vs. James Madison winner
