Tara Lipinski caught some ice skating fever while serving as a commentator at the Winter Olympics in Milan this week.

The former Olympic gold medalist, 43, has been logging plenty of hours, alongside Johnny Weir, in the broadcasting booth at the 2026 Milano Cortina games.

After days of sitting on the sidelines, she decided it was time to throw on a pair of skates herself.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Feb. 18, Lipinski shared a clip of herself gliding around an outdoor ice rink, and to be honest, it looked like she had never left the sport.

The former Olympian rocked a black crop top tied at the waist, matching leggings, and crisp white skates in her latest IG share.

During the near flawless impromptu session, which included several spins, backward ice dancing and some pretty clean motions, Lipinski admitted, "All this skating is making me want to get on the ice!!"

"Beautiful," a third added.

Fans beg Tara Lipinski to return to figure skating with Johnny Weir

Others were quick to suggest that she return to the sport with Weir as her partner.

"I could watch this all day. BUT- I think you and mommy @johnnygweir should come out of retirement and compete in ice dance," one person suggested.

"I wish you and johnny could get on that olympic ice together and do shell for us!!" another said.

"You and Johnny need to create a doubles routine. We are here for it!" someone else wrote.

Lipinski famously won the gold in ladies' singles figure skating at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan.

The figure skating champ, who was 15 at the time, became the youngest athlete to win an individual gold medal in Winter Olympics history.
