Gotcha, you are exaggerating. One post about him being "in the conversation" for being an elite player. Hardly a case of people around here arguing he was elite.

See, I don't think it's about this game. I think Bled is who he is. I think a star would've rallied himself to a better performance against a team that requires a higher level of play. Bled looked like he didn't even belong on the floor.
But that aside, he is simply not a consistently good (not great, just good) shooter. His drives to the hoop are often about him jumping into the air with no clue about what to do with the ball...leading to crazy scrambles and/or turnovers.
He's good. But not a star...

He is a good shooter, he is elite in transition, he is an elite defender. It all adds up to him being in the conversation among the elite guards in the NBA.

I just don't see it... But, I don't believe he is the chief problem with this team... I think Knight might be a bigger issue at the guard position. And our forward situation is no doubt the biggest issue of them all...

I think if you took a good hard look at the other guards around the league and then ranked Bledsoe among them... you'd see it. If he keeps up his current statistical pace up through the All-Star game he will be a virtual lock to make the team, and that is in a conference stacked with guards.

holy cow... we got down by 40?! I was half watching while it was close and then pretty much turned the game off when it went from 42-40 to 59-44 in a blink of an eye.

i'm still trying to give this team a shot, but everyone on the team is just painfully boring to watch, with absolutely zero charisma. it's just a completely nondescript team, bound to mediocrity and right in line to get another great late lottery pick who won't move the needle at all.

Makes you wonder why we traded for Charles Barkley as evidently he was the reason that the 76ers were awful and in no way was responsible for bringing us to the finals.

I think our young guys (Len, Booker and Warren) and Bledsoe have charisma as well as talent. The problem is we have a bunch of guys that are inconsistent (Knight, the young guys mentioned earlier) or are just not very good but keep getting playing time anyways (Tucker, Price)

GS is just an amazing team and we are not close to that level! After getting their first loss and having a few days off you just knew they were gonna come out at home and kick some butt. I knew 3 days ago this was not gonna be pretty. Let's be honest when they play like they did tonight NO team has a chance against GS period! When Thompson is scoring 40+ most of which in one quarter they have already beat you. This team is gonna make history and they are a pleasure to watch. It sucks seeing them do it against the Suns but man do they play some great, great team basketball!

Uh for instance he is 5th among all guards in PER, not just point guards.

22ppg 4+rpg 6.5apg 2.1spg 0.7bpg 45%FG 40%3s are Elite numbers.

You might be clueless about what an elite guard in the NBA actually is.

Bledsoe easily is having an allstar caliber season.

It is not Bledsoe's fault that our starting SF, starting PF are both 2nd round pick talents and in addition to that we are playing 2 more 2nd round talents of the bench. Tucker, Leuer, Teletovic, Price are all not particularly talented players and Knight may well be the most inconsistent player in the league. Len is as inconsistent as they come, he just does not have "it" to ever reach his potential it seems and Chandler is washed up.

Even tonight when Bledsoe had an off game he was still by far the most impactful starter on the team and only -18 compared to Chandler -32, Knight -27, Tucker -27 and Leuer -23.

Bledsoe and Warren (although still inconsitent maybe due to playing time) are the bright spots on the team.

He just refuses to do this. Good to see Goodwin was productive in his minutes again.

We got our asses handed to us by maybe the greatest team of all time. It is what it is. We are a middle of the road team, but there is talent here, and youth. Stay the course.... Easy for me to say, however. I didn't watch the game lol.

It's a rinse/repeat cycle with this team in regards to that. Suns may end up having the most #13 and #14 draft picks in NBA history if they don't already.

It's amazing to me that even in a game where we were losing by 40, until garbage time scoring narrowed the lead, Booker and Goodwin could only get 10 and 12 minutes each.

Seriously, Hornacek your team blows and your playing the best team in the league, realize your not gonna win and give these kids some ******** quality minutes. Goodwin and Booker should have both had 20+ mins tonight each.

I went to bed at halftime. When I watched the Suns go from up 4 to down 15 in like 3 minutes, I knew it wasn't worth watching. It sounds like I made the right choice.

Not true. I can count them on 1 finger. He had is first really bad shooting night.
Maybe true. But that is the loss of Markieff playing well.

I think the Suns are better this year. Just bad substitutions, plays, and execution. There were winnable games we had, just the wrong personnel was out there.

This is a valid point. I don't know. I keep waiting for McDonough to make some fixes. The Suns lack direction. I'd be willing to enjoy watching the young players develop if the Suns committed to that.

I think the Suns are better this year. Just bad substitutions, plays, and execution. There were winnable games we had, just the wrong personnel was out there.

They probably have more talent on the roster but that talent is not being used properly on the court.

I think the Suns went into the season intent on making the playoffs especially with the acquisition of Tyson Chandler. Now the Suns are a two headed monster, one part of them wants to make the playoffs and the other part wants to work in the young players gradually. I think Hornacek is still striving to make the playoffs especially because he is playing Tucker and Price. Also I think he views Chandler, Tucker and Price as his plan to improve the Suns defense which has gone by the wayside.
