While officiating was not great, the Suns beat themselves. Without looking at box score, I'm gonna say they gave up 15-20 offensive rebounds. Brooks fouling Melton on the three to end the first half was a terrible play. They just can't do stupid stuff and expect to win consistently.

This is why I am open to a Sabonis trade - rebounds is a huge issue. Gillespie should be the starting PG also - the team is better with him handling the ball and Booker off ball
That's crazy talk, he is a rim protector and a good one. I don't know how many times I saw Williams guarding Curry out side. He did good job on him for a big man but he is not under the boards for the rebound.

Per my FB feed that's his 24th career ejection, only Rasheed Wallace had more, 29.
Having watched hime, especially when they were the local NBA broadcast team when I was in Northern Nevada, he could have EASILY been ejected from games 100 times in his career. He has had tirades like that before, especially in their early dynasty days, and refs would just let him do it. I would get so mad, because he would disrupt a game for five minutes with his BS tirades, and then they would just play on like nothing happened. Sometimes without him getting a technical!

What’s weird is you’re not recognizing the reality that the last three games we’ve played as a superstar that gets preferential treatment while our superstar gets none

LeBron should’ve been ejected not once but twice

Just look at the one sequence when the Warriors were making their run - curry fouls Booker no call come back the other way they call a foul on Booker when the contact was far less minimal and affecting the shot even less

The foul they called on Booker when it was curry that kicked his legs out and gave the Warriors three free throws

Superstars always have and always will get the calls. in fact, a superstar could be defined as the best player on any given night, who steps up in big high-pressure games and always receives the benefit of favorable calls.

Unfortunately, we don't have one. As good as Booker is he is a step or two below Curry and LeBron.

I didn't get the whole sequence, he blocked CG's shot and then taunted him and got away with it, so why he then continued it with the bump and then push I have no idea. Local media is saying Green was mad about CG getting key steals against him in the last game but that doesn't make any sense. CG likes to come from behind on rebounds and poke at the ball but that's not a dirty play at all so if he gets a steal doing that it's not something you retaliate against.

I just think he didn't want to play and decided to get kicked out

I saw it coming a mile away. Suns could not go on a run, giving too many chances to Curry & co does not end well. Where the frack is Kevin Booker?!

It's more like where was the rest of the gang, especially Williams and O'Neale.

Booker, Brooks and Gillespie did their part.

Suns really need to cleanup turnovers and points off of turnovers. We rank towards the bottom of the league.

He took a four point play by Curry, and made it a two point play. That's why GS used to hate his tirades. Early on they tried to stop it. Now I think they just live with it.

But your other definition is the best player any given night Booker is a superstar
And the star treatment is one thing that makes the NBA less appealing

It’s either a foul or it’s not a foul

I guess I'm puzzled why them not calling either of those fouls somehow favored the Warriors? Curry is the best FT shooter in the history of the NBA, the odds are very high he would have made both. Is the argument you would have had more time to get a shot off at the end?

Also, Booker was the only one to commit a foul. Gillespe whiffed. It's an obvious mistake, but ultimately a non-issue.

This is what I’m talking about. I’m sure Russ watched and saw a bunch of calls he thought were bad for the Warriors as well.

Complaining about the refs in a game where we just get demolished on the board and turn the ball over the way we did and just the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter with mind-numbing turnovers that led to 7 points just ain’t it.

Draymond earned his ejection.

I didn't think it was a flagrant by Brooks on Curry unless we are looking at the letter of the rule. Great sell job though.

Nah, I don't think so. They are a bad match-up for Phoenix.
I don’t think so if we are healthy… they got what 20+ from Richard lol who would have never got that had Green not got kicked out. It actually helped him he got ejected we were kicking their ass before that. He slows them and defends but doesn’t knock down 3s at a 100% clip like that dude, and other were knocking them down too! 52 bench points is not the norm from them and every damn rebound seem to bounce their way it was just a combination of things and few dumb fouls by us. The refs didn’t do us any favors but hardly the reason in this game but it is suspect on the last minute of these games there seem to be iffy calls or non calls consistently lately…

This guy has coached Draymond for 10+ years and defended/deflected his antics.
