Maluach is just raw and needs to learn how to better use his physical tools. He was improving during the game already. Dunn has a better handle and a much smoother stroke now, very encouraging considering where he was a year ago. Oso will get good playing time with his all around skill except for jumpers. Brea is as reported.

oso started at pf - got more minutes than anyone on the team - had twice as many rebounds(14) than anyone on both teams(one wizard had 7) and oso didn't miss one 3 pointer

DeMarre Carroll said Koby Brae reminds him a bit of Kyle Korver.

Jalen Green does a presser of his own on Dillon Brooks.

They don't sound enthused, TBPH. Green was clowning, especially when asking about motivation. When you go from the 2 seed to a team that wildly under performed, I can't really blame them.

Nothing wrong with being a top 8 guy

Edit: Especially considering where he was drafted. That's a very good outcome.
Exactly. I think he's a high IQ player, but his physical limitations hamper him. But i do think he can give you a quality 15-20 minutes off the bench. That's my projection, anyway.

It was kind of an awkward interview. I wouldn't read anything into it.

I could listen to Dunn hype Maluach all day but I'm waiting on Oso to start bashing Khaman like a scorned lover. Dunn is hyping his replacement. Oso needs to get his shot working to regain Dunn's attention.
I think Oso is working on his shot. His FTs today looked a lot better to me.

I feel a bit more optimistic after DeMarre Carroll's comments on Rasheer Fleming because he says he has been working out.

oso is seeing things oso clearly - we drafted maluach at #10 and moved up to get flemming - plus we signed williams and nigel hayes-davis (nhd?) - that's two centers and two power forwards - that's 4 new guys coming in to take food off oso's plate

looked pretty motivated tonight

One can hope. As of now he's the odd man out, which is unusual for a more experienced player. He was a 2nd round pick though and needs to earn his minutes.

I missed that Carroll is the SL coach. Glad to see it though. The guy's story is inspirational. He found out he suffered from liver disease in college and still managed to overcome it and make it to the NBA as a legit role player. Good dude, from all I've heard.
