Fleming has been shooting FTs well lately. You have to give guys shots. This will help us later on in the playoffs.

book has bad nights - jalen has bad nights - gillespie has bad nights - i think ott had a bad night tonight - the spurs were going to foul - put your best 4 free throw shooters on the floor - right?

this one stings more than them all - all 3 road losses combined - pretty much sealed our 7th seed fate

i love jordan ott and i love rasheer fleming but they're both rookies - it's not like we're in danger of losing our 7th seed lol this is how fleming gets better - he's a rookie who wasn't even playing a month ago - and they weren't air balls but just enough anxiety to make a nervous difference

im hoping the lockeroom is showing fleming nothing but love - and i imagine ott is feeling it too

You can't yell we don't develop guys (I mean in general, not you specifically), and then complain when they have growing pains. Fleming is on an upward curve. They need to affirm to him he's OK. They need to have this guy develop for us to become a better team.

In hindsight Ott shouldn't have let Fleming in for the last Suns possesion just as he left out Oso, for bad FT shooting. Either Bouyea or Coffey woulda been better. Fox carried them in the 4th after repeatedly schooling Fleming, even though one shot got blocked. It's good lesson but cost us the game. We defended Wemby as well as anybody. We got a chance thanks to CG and Green's hot shooting in the 1st half, and Spurs inability to crack our D when Wemby was out resting. If we met in the POs, we'd still have a chance when more than one guy could shoot well.

Just a brutal loss after having the lead much of the game even missing 6 guys! It shows how good we are to even hang with the hottest team in the league missing a bunch of guys but damn still brutal to lose games at the end like this! We need to get healthy quick oofff…

Oso needs to develop his offensive shot repertoire beyond dunks, put backs and push shots though. A mid-range jumper would open up so much for him.
Agreed. Ironically, he had one of his better offensive games. That bump off Wemby and push shot was awesome. But in general, YES!
