No Suns game tonight
Maybe we'll have Cam and Jerome for all of our summer league games now?
This announcer is going overboard now "This was one of the scariest moments of my life"
I mean, really? I get it, it's weird but she was talking normal up until they just put the camera on them to sign off.
Downgraded to 6.9. And the fireworks begin in my neighborhood again!
Our chandeliers were shaking and pool water was sloshing here in Mesa
There is CNN coverage of the quake and USGS authorities are talking about it.
It seemed to last forever. I've been through much stronger quakes but for some reason this one hit our house the hardest and by quite a bit.
Did anyone see them when the Suns came out courtside? They would have to be in Las Vegas to even have a chance to play tomorrow.
Where are you at?
I don't remember an eartquake so far ranging as this one. My sone said he didn't feel it in Flagstaff. He is camping and probably not feeling too much right now anyway!
Moreno Valley which is near Riverside, CA. If you know the area, we're less than a mile from the old Riverside Race track. I'm guessing that Las Vegas is probably as close to the center as we are so I'm not surprised they were so concerned. I got a call from a friend who was at dinner at a Vegas casino hotel near his house and he said most of the patrons hid under tables, stood in doorways or just tried to crawl to safety.
I get that people felt unsettled, but there was no danger from the scoreboard and speakers. Once they stopped swaying they should have continued.
I have some friends there. I better see what's up.
