Finally figured out who he reminds me of. Bruce Brown. Primarily his last season in Brooklyn before he went to Denver. They started using him more as a small PF or SF on both sides.

Brown is 6'4" and 202 pounds while Goodwin is 6'3" and 215".

That's interesting because Livers is on a two-way contract. I like him better than Hayes Davis.

Bouyea is also on a two-way contract. The Suns do have an open roster spot too.

Brown has a 6'9" wingspan while Goodwin reportedly has a 6'10" so their style and size is quite similar.

Yeah he's not really a PG, as size would indicate. He does ok there but he's not a good enough shooter for SG either so his play elsewhere is what helps make him stand out and earn minutes. His size and shooting doesn't hold him back. He's a solid second unit guy.

Yeah, Goodwin is a player. A position doesn't define him. He plays hard all the time with good defense.
