Mavs are the hottest team in the league right now

i don’t expect this to be an easy game.
They are one of the 2 hottest teams in the league right now.

The other one?

Our Phoenix Suns.

Both on 4-game win streaks, not sure that qualifies as "hot", but definitely in pretty good places. Difference is, we have a 9 game lead on the Mavs in the standings.

Mavs have been playing outstanding defense the last few games (ten or so, I want to say.) I do believe the Suns will overpower them, but they need to be focused on not letting anyone not named Doncic get going offensively.

The Suns are 34-9 and the combination of Chris Paul, Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton have only played in 23 games together so far this year.

That’s pretty impressive.
It's the bench this year. We have actually gotten production from guys stepping up as others have been out. We didn't have that before. It was like falling off a cliff when someone was missing. It's definitely been impressive. I am always up for beating Dallas. Hope it's a good game.

I'd feel better if the Suns had Ayton for the game.

Doncic and Book both coming off season highs in points. 41 and 48 respectively.

I don’t want to get overly excited about a somewhat solid showdown with another healthy West playoff team. Last time I did that with what was a big game against Miami, we totally no showed.

If we lose, I'm blaming you. And if we win, I'll forget you ever said anything. :p

Missed it, can you summarize what he said? He's usually pretty reserved with his praise for Phoenix (unless it's for Ayton)

Shaq came out and said the Suns were the best team in the NBA.

Tell them how it is Cam Payne. Play with that chip on your shoulder.
