Brea is getting attention. I have seen GS fans wanting him in a Kuminga deal and treating it like he would be the key piece coming in return. That shot of his is beautiful to behold and bball junkies notice.

this is hilarious - our fan base must have infiltrated their fan base undetected and are working in our best interest - only explanation i can come up with

I have a good friend who is a GS fan and had no clue about Koby after the draft but after Summer League he started talking about he was the second coming of Klay Thompson. It's funny to see it in real time and live. Brea's shot is great but he needs to keep working and we need to be patient with him. I don't want to see another Toumani Camara situation so I'm glad he's signed to a Two-Way, which can't be traded.

Yep. He reminds them of Klay.

Hope we stay clear of Kuminga. At least do not give up assets or a long contract!

Klay Thompson was capable of scoring 37 in a quarter, 41 in a game 7 road elimination game and averaging 26 ppg on a .70TS in the finals before blowing out his knee and playing high quality defense. In his prime he was closer to underrated than overrated. @Russ Smith

Yea I've seen his name on Warrior sites since Phoenix started getting mentioned for Kuminga. I think the Bulls are now talking Dosonmu in a deal for Kuminga at least his name comes up often. Earlier everyone was saying Vucevic because of course I've wanted him for years but now he's 34 may as well get him!

Brea has a pretty shot his year at UK everyone was comparing him to Klay

It's funny, first thing me and my son said, is Brea's shot looks like Klay Thompson's shot. Must be spot on if so many people think so.

I think that's what's got GS fans attention. They miss the old Klay.

Kentucky, much like old school Indiana, usually produces technically sound players.
Though I admit I haven't watched them in a few years.
Historically speaking i guess.
Brea only spent his second senior year at Kentucky, so he was technically sound before he got there. However, you are right about Kentucky producing technically sound players.

kid has a little Reggie Miller in that stroke
He not only has a sweet stroke, he has the ability to wiggle and get room to get that shot off even when guarded closely. This guy is going to be interesting. I wish he played a little D.

I just hope he is serviceable!

Don't hold your breath. I think he'll spend most of the year in the G-League. Maybe he gets brought up after the deadline for an extended stretch if Grayson is traded but I will be surprised if he's more than a 12th man through March, barring a major injury of course.

Just depends on how training camp and pre-season goes imo. Solidified are Book, Green, Brooks, Allen, Dunn, Oneale. All he has to do is be a better shooter than Goodwin, Butler, Davis, Gillespie and Livers. Shooters aren't the only thing we need as we need scorers, and Brea has some midrange game to him and a bit of some hops too.
