He's an NBA player, which I didn't think he'd become before this season, but he can't play more than 20 minutes a night without adding some sort of jumper. He can claim he's worked on it but it wasn't utilized but I don't buy that. I think anyone buying into that narrative is setting themselves up to be disappointed.
Have you ever heard him claim he's worked on his jumper? He doesn't even look for a jumper, like, EVER. Make him shoot 1000 free throws a day and hope that leads to him getting a jumper.

Nobody has been asked to buy into it. The proof is in the pudding. Either he can shoot next season or he can't. I'm looking forward to finding out. I always have hope.

Yeah, just above in a tweet from Duane Rankin shared by Adrian.

Suns big Oso Ighodaro said he's been working on his shoot omg in nighttime workout with his trainer.Said we didn't see it in the games, but is looking forward to a deeper dive to that this summer. #Suns

He said we didn't see it in games, which implies he's been working on it already and he isn't starting at 0 this offseason.

I'm going to keep doubting him since it helped him take a step forward this year. Maybe he needs my negative energy to fuel his workouts.

if oso can make his free throws he could have a long nba career - if he adds a jumpshot he might even start - still not sure he's a center tho

I am happy with Oso. I did not think he could be a legitimate rotation player. I think he has solidified himself as a rotation player- he is a good backup/ situational center.
If he can hit free throws, I will be thrilled.

I'd hope that we can flip either Allen or Royce for a pick during the draft.

I'd also shop Green too, although, I doubt we can get any value for him. Rumor was, we tried to send him somewhere else in the trade last season but no one wanted him, and I don't think his stock went up. We have a log jam at the position and I think he is the worst fit of the bunch and I am generally not a fan of high volume players who are bad at shooting and passing.

How many minutes would Oso have played in the series with OKC if he played OKC instead of PHX?

None. Same can be said for pretty much everyone except Booker and Brooks. And Brooks would play a very different role. They'd want him to be more like Dort, if he went out there and shot 20 times they'd staple him to their bench.

The talent disparity in the series was massive.

I'm not holding my breath. It's been 2 seasons and he hasn't even threatened to try a straight up jumpshot.

A healthy Jordan Goodwin might get some minutes but yeah, the talent advantage was obvious.

been eating them since the draft - even gave the neighbors a couple - barely halfway because they're so strong!

You must be registered for see images attach

One of these days I'm going to have to give them a try.

I have some back and knee problems I deal with not to mentions the Suns and Cardinals. :)

Man I hope that’s all he does. Live in the gym. Jack up shots. Get that muscle memory.

It's crazy that a guy that can whip a bounce pass through defenders in the paint can't make even half his free throws. It has never made sense to me how some of these guys are good enough to make it into the NBA but will shoot outside shots like it's the first time they've ever touched a basketball.

Like, how Barkley looks like he's never hit a golf ball before every time he does his back swing, and he KNOWS his swing sucks but can't fix it.
