Is Booker injured? We've all given him flak for the way he has been playing, especially closing big games out. But the last 2 months he was playing like he was after the start of the season. There was a month where we were like he's back to getting his lift on his shots, he actually had some dunks, but then injured his ankle/leg on a block against the Heat? And now he's fading way too much without any lift at all on his shots.
Good question, but I think it's mental, actually. The guy is still scoring almost 30 points, just not in the 4th quarter for some bizarre reason.

I think so but that's Devin and one of the reasons I'm in favor of moving on from him. He is one of the worst players when it comes to playing with an injury. He never wants to sit out so you can count on him trying to play. But besides it often making his soft tissue injuries worse, the guy simply cannot play "his game" if he isn't close to 100%. And few starters are still 100% as the season winds down.

I hope this isn't true, but it might be as it would make Dillon happy and they might think he fits better than Jalen

Hope Ja is not from the same place as all our guys. I have forgotten exactly where. Was it Michigan? Stay clear of that damaged headcase. I expect the FO to make the right decision. Ja? No!

ESPN has a lengthy offseason guide for us. It breaks down who owns our picks, who we have rights to resign, and who can get an extension. It's all quite extensive. Should be the first one as you scroll down or you can select Phoenix from the list. Worth reading to know what options we have.

Of our free agents, only Gillespie, Williams and Goodwin could get any legit offers.

Goodwin needs to be the priority, he was a real catalyst for this team. Maybe the best on ball defender and a fearless, physical player who also doesn't try to do too much.

Gillespie #2. Solid ball handler, solid shooter, scrappy. Very streaky, had some awful stretches, but had a few great ones as well.

Williams would be the top priority by a mile (considering our size problems) if not for that he clearly has chronic problems that would make me scared to sign him on more than a one year deal. I'd like him back, see if another year with our staff can get him more reliable, but we should not look beyond a one year or a 2 year "team option" deal.

It's a tricky situation.

I agree on everything, especially order of importance.

I'd take a risk on Williams around the qualifying offer, $9.6m. if we could keep him for 2-3 years right around the MLE with team options or game played qualifiers giving us a little protection.

Back to Goodwin, he is a gamer who makes others better by his presence. He even did so for Gillepsie. I like Collin but Goodwin is more valuable. Keeping both would be great but if Collin ends up costing over $11m annually then that money could be better spent elsewhere. I'd like to see the paid retained kept under $15 million annually.

We're almost certainly going to do the qualifying offer with Williams. If someone offers more than $10m per, then we should probably just let him go.

I've always been high on Ja Morant dating back to draft days but you may be right. I do think a change of environment might help right the ship though.

Suns big Oso Ighodaro said he's been working on his shoot omg in nighttime workout with his trainer.Said we didn't see it in the games, but is looking forward to a deeper dive to that this summer. #Suns

Let me guess. He has developed a knuckle-ball. Just joking.

Relying and counting on Oso to get a shot, eh. This guy was fools gold all season.
What do you mean he was fool's gold. We know what he is, so I'm not sure what you were expecting.

I just don't think he is starter material. Definitely an NBA player though, contrary to some of the opinions on this board.

He's an NBA player, which I didn't think he'd become before this season, but he can't play more than 20 minutes a night without adding some sort of jumper. He can claim he's worked on it but it wasn't utilized but I don't buy that. I think anyone buying into that narrative is setting themselves up to be disappointed.
