The Phoenix Suns are signing two-way guard Jamaree Bouyea on a new two-year contract, sources tell ESPN. After two-ways and 10-day deals with six teams in 3+ years, Bouyea earns a standard contract, averaging 6.5 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in rotation role for the Suns.

On paper, you take a HOF prolific scorer and pair him with Devin Booker? what could go wrong? LOL!Those wasted 3 years with Durant really chap my hide when I read this stuff.
It's not KD alone, but the deals and ensuing roster constructions. The idea of big-3, particularly with Beal as part of it, was the main culprit that never had a chance to succeed given the new salary framework. On paper, you take a HOF prolific scorer and pair him with Devin Booker? what could go wrong? I agree. People consistently point to the KD trade though. It was really the Beal trade. The big three worked in Miami because one of them was a good center that could score. We got Beal, who was small, hurt, and wasn't anywhere near a good defender. The salary for Beal was the real killer. We couldn't build around that third high salary. If we would have stuck with a big two, and built around that, it might have had a chance to succeed. Of course it comes back to Ayton, too. If he had been producing like a true first pick in the draft, we would have never made the Beal trade. Heck, possibly not even the KD trade. It's not KD alone, but the deals and ensuing roster constructions. What doesn't make sense to me is that you want to throw away Grayson and Royce like they are garbage. What do you think we'd get back in return? Would what we get back more crucial to our development vs what they are already? Royce I can see being a veteran presence that a team would value, but what would we get back?I am feeling a lot better about the next 2 or 3 years for the suns.
Oso has made great strides,
Rasheer has huge potential - he is already at a Jaden McDaniels type level. If he can learn to ISO he can become an all star.
Goodwin if we can resign him, which I think we can is an outstanding perimeter defender and all around great bench guy. Highsmith is a great minimum signing who gives us really solid defensive minutes.
Gillespie again if we can resign him is one of the best 3 point shooters in the league, and is becoming a better passer.
Jalen Green has great potential - but he has to get better in his decision making.
Khaman - I still don't feel that good about, but at least he looks like he might be an OK backup.
We need to trade Grayson and Royce this offseason, and if we can get Goodwin and Gillespie resigned I think we can easily survive losing them and still have a deep team.
At this point we have more than enough role players, we need to have a couple guys turn into stars. I think Rasheer and Jalen both have that potential, and Dillon is sometimes at that level as well.
I like Goodwin as well, but both Allen and O'Neal beat him in almost every metric. I'm not sure why you would compare the three of them. Allen is a much better shooter and Royce can guard more positions. If the choice was between Goody and one of the other two, I'd probably lose Royce over Allen.Goodwin is so important that I would lose both Allen and O'Neal to keep Goodwin, if necessary.
Green can be good when he penetrates. When he ISO's and takes the contested three he is no good.
The reason for trading Allen/O'Neale is playing time and money. They have saved us many times this year. Can we afford to (re)sign Gillespie and Goodwin without shedding some salary?
