Rewatching from beginning of beginning.

S1ep1 so good!!
Thats always the best way to go. Especially when a series is so short overall.

When GoT was still fresh,...I treated the series just as I did the books. when the new was about to be released I went back to the beginning and started over...so everything was fresh in my mind for the new season/book.

I was planning to do the same with ST but my Netflix sub is sketchy right now and I cant guarantee it will stay active.. I use my SIL's account and their sharing restrictions makes it a real pain to keep mine active, lol.

The family went to see the finale at the theater opening day at 6pm. First time I have been in a large sold out theater in I'd guess at least a decade. Super cool vibe in the theater with people cheering and what not together. Loved it!

Putting it here in case people haven't seen the finale of Squid Games. In the finale of Stranger Things Netflix ran a commercial that was like a "catchup" of what had happened on Netflix. In it they give "updates" on the end of Squid games.

So if you watch the finale of Stranger Things and haven't finished Squid Games
don't watch that ad.

We finally finished it. What a ride! Fight scenes were a bit long, as they always are, but I enjoyed most of the story and dialogue.

I also enjoyed the looong wrap up, even though it was a bit silly. Sooo much has happened since S1, I thought it fit nicely.

I’m bumping more on Maya Hawke suddenly having a great plan every time the moment calls for it, pulling it seemingly out of thin air. I dug the intro of her character a lot in Season 3 and 4 and her relationship with Steve, but she ain’t hitting for me this year.

They’re also doing the REALLY annoying thing with dialogue that is increasing on so many Netflix shows (and is happening on purpose per notes from the streamer) which is repeatedly restating the obvious so people having second screen experiences can catch up if they were looking at the phones earlier.

Wow...I thought it was just me noticing. This is so annoying. It's also the biggest difference I notice between US films and foreign films. They don't spoon-feed answers to viewers as much in foreign films (in general).

If people aren't paying attention, or thinking about what they're watching, that's on them!
