The Pittsburgh Steelers are battling some injuries in their secondary once again — as S Jabrill Peppers has been ruled out for the second week in a row.

On Friday’s practice report, Peppers was ruled out with a quad injury ahead of the Week 10 matchup vs. the Los Angeles Chargers — along with G Isaac Seumalo (pectoral), LB Cole Holcomb (illness), and WR Scotty Miller (finger).

Signing with Pittsburgh two months ago on a one-year deal worth $1.25 million, Peppers had a standout performance against his former Patriots in Week 3 — but hasn’t seen much playing time since.

Luckily for Pittsburgh, another safety will return against the Chargers on Sunday Night Football — S Chuck Clark — who missed the Steelers’ Week 9 matchup vs. the Indianapolis Colts while battling an illness.
