The Pittsburgh Steelers have revealed the jersey numbers for their 2026 draft class, which are as follows:

  • QB Drew Allar: 16
  • WR Germie Bernard: 17
  • CB Daylen Everette: 23
  • S Robert Spears-Jennings: 28
  • RB/WR Eli Heidenreich: 29
  • TE/FB Riley Nowakowski: 37
  • WR/KR Kaden Wetjen: 42
  • OT Max Iheanachor: 71
  • G Gennings Dunker: 73
  • DL Gabriel Rubio: 96

With Ben Skowronek in possession of No. 15, Allar takes 16, making him the first quarterback since Charlier Batch to wear the number for the Steelers. Bernard will give fans Eli Rodgers vibes in the slot with the No. 17.

The obvious outlier here is Wetjen in No. 42. He wore No. 21 at Iowa, which isn’t currently being used, so he could have taken it. But as long as he houses a few kicks per year, that No. 42 could become a cult favorite jersey purchase.
