The Pittsburgh Steelers are reuniting with a familiar face in their linebacker room.
Pittsburgh has reached agreement with free agent Elandon Roberts on a one-year contract, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Roberts played for the Steelers during the 2023 and 2024 seasons before joining the Las Vegas Raiders in 2025.
Roberts, 32, was a strong run defender at inside linebacker during his time in black and gold. He recorded 147 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, two passes defended, and one forced fumble in 33 games in Pittsburgh (29 starts).
Roberts started all but one game for the Raiders last year and totaled 90 tackles and six tackles for loss, playing for now-Steelers defensive coordinator Patrick Graham.
Roberts adds much-needed depth to the inside linebacker group, led by Patrick Queen and Payton Wilson.
The Steelers begin the preseason at Acrisure Stadium with a 7 p.m. kickoff Thursday against Green Bay.
