The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing former Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports.

Dowdle posted back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons for the Panthers. Now he'll join Jaylen Warren in the backfield in Pittsburgh.
