The Pittsburgh Steelers made some roster moves ahead of training camp.

Pittsburgh will begin training camp on July 28, with practices beginning on July 29. Ahead of training camp kicking off, the Steelers announced the team has signed defensive back Ahmari Harvey.

Harvey signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent after the 2026 NFL Draft. He spent four years at Georgia Tech after beginning his college career at Auburn in 2021 for one season, but didn’t appear in a game. With the Yellow Jackets, he appeared in 43 games, recording 121 tackles. He had four interceptions and 12 pass defenses in his college career.

In his final season at Georgia Tech, the 6-foot defensive back he rerecorded 26 tackles, three tackles for a loss, one sack, and seven pass defenses.

As the corresponding move, Pittsburgh released defensive end K.J. Henry. Henry was selected in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft by Washington and spent the 2023 season with the Commanders before spending the 2024 season between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Dallas Cowboys. Henry appeared in one game with the Cleveland Browns.

Henry signed with the Steelers in October but was not elevated from the practice squad and was released on Nov. 5. He ended up re-signing with the Steelers this offseason.
