The Pittsburgh Steelers aren't finished yet, as after the team claimed two players off waivers, two more wide receivers were brought in for workouts at training camp.
On Friday, Day 8 of training camp, the Steelers hosted two players for workouts: wide receivers Cornell Powell and Isaiah Winstead.
Powell, selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, had a breakout collegiate season in 2020 with the Clemson Tigers, in which he recorded 882 yards and seven touchdowns. He has yet to catch a pass in the NFL.
Winstead, who signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2023, went viral after a highlight video he posted following the NFL Draft landed him a deal with San Francisco. In 2022, Winstead earned All-AAC recognition for his incredible six-touchdown, 1,085-yard season.
