The Pittsburgh Steelers are locked in on training camp mode, which included bringing in several NFL free agents for a workout on Thursday.

On Day 7 of training camp, the Steelers brought in four players for workouts: edge rusher Andre Carter II, edge rusher Xavier Thomas, safety Donovan Wilson, and cornerback-safety hybrid Israel Mukuamu.

Of these four players, Wilson and Mukuamu previously played for new Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy on the Dallas Cowboys. But only Mukuamu has received a contract so far.

Expect the Steelers to continue to do their due diligence when it comes to their injury-ridden secondary, especially with their preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers just around the corner.
