The Pittsburgh Steelers have begun the search for their next head coach after Mike Tomlin stepped down — with our scouting reports giving fans a better idea of which possible head coach candidates to look out for.
Taking a look at head coach record, coaching background, potential fit with the Steelers, and whether or not Pittsburgh should sign him, here’s the scouting report for former Dolphins head coach and current Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores.

It’s no secret the Steelers defense failed to live up to expectations and the Black and Gold legacy in 2025, but Flores would give Pittsburgh the best opportunity to get the unit back on track.
