The Pittsburgh Steelers could be looking to reload their offensive line in the 2026 NFL Draft, and one Day 2 prospect could be exactly what they need.

Enter Markell Bell, a standout offensive tackle out of the University of Miami (FL) and a fast-rising prospect that would be a fantastic addition to Pittsburgh.

Here is a look at Bell's scouting report, which contains his bio, strengths, concerns, stats, and highlights.

Markel Bell, OT, Miami (FL)

  • Height: 6 feet 9 inches
  • Weight: 346 pounds
  • 40-yard dash: 5.36 seconds
  • Projection: Third-round

Strengths

  • Outstanding frame (6'9", 346 lbs, 36 3/8" arms)
  • Major improvements from 2024 to 2025
  • Phenomenal pass blocker (558 pass blocking snaps, zero sacks allowed)

Concerns

  • Foot speed needs work
  • Twitchy edge defenders will give him trouble
  • Struggles in run blocking

Stats (per PFF)

  • 2024: 544 offensive snaps played, four penalties, three sacks allowed, 63.6 pass blocking grade, 58.6 run blocking grade
  • 2025: 1,034 offensive snaps played, seven penalties, zero sacks allowed, 83.5 pass blocking grade, 66.0 run blocking grade

Highlights

Miami OT Markel Bell is a bit underrated in this draft cycle. Absolute behemoth with long limbs and a massive frame. It's just hard for pass rushers to get around him or through him.

If he can improve the footwork just a bit, he can be a starter in the league pic.twitter.com/XfpJWWpdS3
