The Seattle Seahawks have an excellent roster that helped them win Super Bowl 60. After going through significant changes in the offseason, both from a coaching and personnel perspective, there's always room for John Schneider's team to improve in 2026. With that in mind, this exercise is designed to add one talented player to the Seahawks' roster from their NFC West division rivals.

San Francisco 49ers: Christian McCaffrey, RB

After losing Kenneth Walker III to free agency, there's no question who the Seahawks would hand-pick from the San Francisco 49ers' roster. Christian McCaffrey is an elite three-down running back who makes a significant impact on an offense. Furthermore, new Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian Fleury coached McCaffrey last season.

Los Angeles Rams: Myles Garrett, EDGE

The pick from the Los Angeles Rams is also painfully obvious after they traded for Myles Garrett earlier this offseason. The elite pass rusher set the single-season sack record in 2025 with the Cleveland Browns. Schneider is always looking to invest in more pass rushers, and adding Garrett would make Mike Macdonald's pass-rushing unit elite.

Arizona Cardinals: Trey McBride, TE

The Arizona Cardinals are rebuilding, so this makes for the most difficult decision. AJ Barner has developed into a quality tight end for the Seahawks, but Trey McBride is among the most elite players at the position in the league. McBride would add another pass-catching threat to Seattle's offense.
