So it was good, I didnt know what I was in for so I had to break it down:
You cannot compare the place to say, Fatburger. Fatburger is better, hands down but it is also more expensive.
The costs of steak and shake rival a wendys, mcdonalds, any fast food place. Its cheaper than a whataburger though (but a whataburger is much l;arger and more filling). If anything, they are close to in and out. $5 got me a burger and fries.
When comparing it to other fast food palces with similar cost it was delicious and well worth its admission price. The bacon is like subways bacon, precooked garbage but the egg and the burger were good. The frys were also delcious. They do hang cut shoestring fries.
The most expensive burger and fries combo was $5 or $6 so its for sure cheap. I see it as more of a lunch place as when I was done, I wanted to order another one - I was not full.
So my take - for what it is, its great. Just dont expect a fatburger or anything large. If you want some cheap fast food for lunch, its far better than most fast food places.
I did not try any shakes, just the egg and bacon burger with fries.
Two burger fry combos and one soft drink was about $12.50.
if im hungry for a quick cheap meal and in the area I will definately go back in.
PS: the place was filthy. Every single table was dirty, we had to get some napkins wet and wipe one down on our own. trash on the floor and etc.
