Status of Kasper?

Jim O - What is Kevin Kasper's status with the Cards? Is he signed? Does he have any free agent status (restricted, unrestricted etc.?) What's the deal? Currently, several folks list him as being in limbo

Jeff Im pretty certain we tendered the guy a contract didnt we? I could have swore that I read something of the sort I will try and find it!

Kasper as I remember it was signed to a 1 or 2 year deal.

We picked up his contract from Seattle who picked it up from Denver. He is under contract through the 2003 season.
