I am extremely skeptical about this one. Although, if it's anywhere close to the production value of Star Trek Discovery I will be on board. I just wonder how an old Picard running around having adventures is going to work out.

Michael Chabon Named Showrunner For 'Star Trek: Picard'

https://www.startrek.com/news/michael-chabon-named-showrunner-star-trek-picard

Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Chabon has been named Showrunner of the upcoming Star Trek: Picard series. Chabon is working closely on the day-to-day production of the series with Academy Award winner and veteran Star Trek writer and producer Akiva Goldsman, and Alex Kurtzman, who continues to oversee the expansion of the growing Star Trek universe for CBS Studios.

“Daring, lyrical, humane, whimsical, celebrated: words that describe both Jean-Luc Picard and the literary genius of Michael Chabon,” said Alex Kurtzman. “Despite a laundry list of accomplishments most writers only dream of, Michael shines with the heart and soul of a Trekkie who’s finally found his dream job. We’re so fortunate to have him at the helm as we explore this next chapter in the great captain’s life.”

Jean-Luc can zip around in the ST version of a "Lil' Rascal" like Captain Pike:

I’m in. This might make me buy CBS All access.

7 of 9 is in this? :clapping:

As much as I want to flip off CBS, they might just have me for a trial month at least. I watched the first season of Discovery on Blu-ray but I could at least combine Discovery season 2 and this for my trial month.

I tried watching CBS All Access once and they literally had an ad every 5 min.

He actually made the comment two days from now. First episode is about a space-time vortex.

It's live?

Are they releasing one a week or the whole series?

No. Not live to public. It didn't work out. Through the same person I was able to view Discovery early. I will have to wait like everyone else. DAMN!
