my one time there was a UCL match against Ajax and there were a lot of away fans hiding in the non-away area. they were white, they didn't speak english, and they were definitely cheering for Ajax.

Also how bout that spursy trophy?

Worried about this hire.

Frank is one of the best managers in the sport (saw him ranked as #11), but he is a long term culture change manager, that needs time.

I doubt he’ll get that with the Spurs.

But results are remarkable. I saw a stat that over the last 3 years he has produced the 12th best team with the 36th budget

sad to see him go. he is my spurs goat (on and off the pitch) in my time window of following them. and you see how much he was beloved by his teammates. My first spurs match I attended was at Wembley against Borussia Dortmund, mostly to see Christian Pulisic, and Son scored a cracking goal in the first mins of the match. from that point on I have always been a fan of his. He also had some massive goals over the years in big matches. Maybe I'll get to see him again live soon if he comes to Austin!

Culture change. I think that's exactly what spurs need. and maybe Ange already did some of the lifting with the way he liberated the players (tactically). and finally lifted a trophy. there is also a youth movement in the squad. But you are spot on whether or not the manager will have the time to accomplish his full potential. if they get results he will get time. if they are poor, I doubt they will have patience. definitely a positive start today against Burnley. far too often in the PL, even sometimes in the EFL and FA Cup, spurs are not able to distance themselves from opponents, regardless of the level of quality, and today that was nice to see. beautiful goals scored today. Richarlison's 2nd goal was amazing.

Why do they change the coach but never loser players like Romero? I don’t get it.

the man that runs the day-to-day operations at Tottenham is the one that needs to be fired. and if he's just a puppet for the ownership, then the owner needs to sell the club to someone who wants to invest in players like other top clubs do. Antonio Conte spoke the truth when he had one foot out the door.

Every time I watch them I wonder why they can’t replace the core players like Richarlison and Betancour and Jerkface Hack Romero.

soon they will be gone. they are reaching their expiry dates (Career wise). It's been a fall from grace from where they were 5-10 years ago. if they were ever going to win the PL or a UCL that was their chance. I still remember the "mind the gap" shirts they had at the 2016-2017 NLD. it was fun while it lasted.

well he's gone and spurs fans are livid with the temporary replacement. TBF when are spurs fans happy, IDK. looks like they might get relegated. that was unthinkable just a few years ago. they have really fallen. I guess maybe have another parade if they clear the zone. celebrate like Everton.

Sounds like yinz have a real ownership problem. My team dealt with Mike Ca$hley, so I can empathize.

ownership and board. I thought levy was bad and he was, but the new board is really tanking. spurs are at the worst i've ever seen. I guess the silver lining for me is that I'm across the pond from them so I don't have to hear about it unless I want to for the most part. I'm actually surprised no one on here isn't making fun of spurs, but hey spurs supporters s on themselves a lot. it's kind of what they do. maybe now they are chanting "we're shi" instead of You're shi
