SIOUX CITY, IA (KCAU) – It was a crazy week on Siouxland hardwoods. Last week it was a slam fest, but this week, buzzers are broken!
5. Number five is Lawton Bronson girls basketball’s Leah Cross. Before the end of the quarter gets it and hucks it up from beyond the arc, and that is buzzer beater number one!
4. Number four, we go to Vermilion. Taylor Reuvers is trying to find space and launches from deep for our second buzzer beater of the week!
3. Number three features our Top Stop this week from West Point Beemer’s Hunter Doggett! In-bound pass and Doggett comes flying out of nowhere to intercept and score!
2. Our number two takes us to Northwestern for a sequence of events. Manny Hammonds with the tray ball, but thats not it. In transition, big man Jesse Van Kalsbeek takes the turn over and the 6-6 biology major slams it down!
1. But our number one play is another buzzer beater back in Remsen, this time the boys’ game. Ball thrown into a jumble of guys, but it’s Jayze Bunkers who launches the Hail Mary from the logo and drains it!
Look out for next week’s top plays!
