SIOUX CITY, IA (KCAU) – Here is a look at this week’s edition of Top 5 Plays!
5. Number five was from the Bandits game on Saturday. Lorenzo Brown is going deep for Fred Bruno, who hauls it in with one arm under heavy contact for the touchdown!
4. Number four, we head to MOC-Floyd Valley for some baseball. Heelan’s Jonathon Hope catches the pitcher off guard, races home, beats the pitch, and steals the first score of the game!
3. Number three, we got another steal attempt this time at Woodbury Central, Woodbury, with runners on. Wildcats look to get crafty on the basepaths. They find themselves in a pickle! Heads up, play by Alta-Aurelia’s Sam Sennert to throw home another pickle ensues, Warriors get it to Maddux McCoy, and the runner is out at home.
2. Number two, a little softball. Sioux City North fields the bunt for the out, then slings it to first for the nice double play to end the inning!
1. But our top play this week is actually a top game. Le Mars pitcher Brett McInnis fans one, catches the next one looking, and that’s the game. McInnis completes the no-hitter, snagging 16 strikeouts!
