Okay, this is just mostly a test, but if you all like it, we'll keep it.

Basically, if you know what an RSS feed is, all these news/sports sites put all their headlines into XML files which vBulletin can read and then use to post into this forum.

So essentially, we're taking any headlines from any source we want, and posting them here every 30 minutes.

Right now, it's just Yahoo because they post A LOT.

If you would like a specific Feed here, let me know and we'll give it a shot.

I foresee this forum being pruned automatically down the line, since these will just be news posts.

Let me know what you guys think.

Mike

Damn. I like this.

What about even doing a sub forum in each sports forum for the feeds;

Cardinals Forum
> NFL RSS Feed Sticky

Suns Forum
> NBA RSS Feed Sticky

etc

I actually was thinking of that...

That would be better, because you could have like NBA Feeds, then even add feeds from certain writers, like Simmons, Bucher, etc...

I love this new area.

Am very against any sub-forums, only because it requires more time to click here and click there ... and time is one thing I have little of these days.

I'm obviously biased but I think for NBA draft people should consider Draft HD. NBA Draft.Net hardly updates and NBA Draft Room is really the only other decent option if you want to see content on future drafts.

Welcome aboard.

I like NBA Draft Room but my favorite source is Tankathon. I will give Draft HD a look.
