PLATTSBURGH — It was an intense battle in the boys’ match that saw Plattsburgh hold on to win, 3-1.
The PHS boys had strong performances from Sebastien Bernier, Xavier Sorrell and Eli Wilson to lead the Hornets. Bernier hammered a 740 series with a high game of 259, and Sorrell nailed a 630 series with a high game of 237. Wilson added a 233 and 185.
The Spartans kept it close, winning the second game behind Ayzek Dumas, who had a 606 series with a high game of 216. David Frederick tossed a 543 with a high game of 203.
Saranac continued its winning ways in girls’ bowling with a 4-0 sweep of Plattsburgh.
Lacee LaPoint led the Spartans with a 638 series and a high game of 247. Kennedy Paynter rolled a 523 with a high game of 191.
Sophie Bechard paced the Hornets with a 418 series, including a career-high game of 156. Sophie Rancour had a 404 series.

Peru hasn’t lost a match this season on the boys’ side as Ian Reil led the way with a high game of 230 and series of 640. Lance Hemingway chipped in a 552 series.
Beekmantown’s Logain Hart rolled a 596 series to lead his team as Alan Russell added a 516.
On the girls’ side, Olivia Corrow led the Eagles with a 517 series and high game of 182.
The Nighthawks were led by Addy Haley’s 296 and Rachel Travers’ 292 series.

The Bobcats and Patriots continued the trend of splitting matches at North Bowl Lanes with the NAC boys and AuSable girls getting 4-0 sweeps.
On the boys’ side, Chase Nichole led with a 623 series. Teammate Kellan Hayes helped secure the win with a new personal best 224 high game and a 591 series.
AVCS’ was led by Jarrett Mattioli’s 363 series.
Eleanore Quinn led the Patriot girls to the win with a 495 series as Milo Eaton chipped in a 409 series.
Piper Bruce led NAC with a 506 series.
