PLATTSBURGH — The Hornets walked away with the win in both boys' and girls' tennis Friday with victories over the Bobcats.
PHS won by scores of 4-1 and 5-0 for the boys and girls, respectively.
In boys' singles play, Ruhan Bamber at No. 1 and Patryk Klimkiewicz at No. 2 won in straight sets.
The other two points for the Hornets came in doubles as Owen Doorey and Aiden Drolette and Kane Ready and Eli Wilson won at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots, respectively.
NAC's Shane Gilmore and Kameron Chinchilla won arguably the match of the day with a three-set victory over Teddy Raut and Soumar Bachawaty.
In girls' play, it was all Plattsburgh as all matches were won in straight sets.
In singles play, Emma Slattery and Ava Weis won the No. 1 and No. 2 matches, respectively.
Doubles play saw Mazie Sellars and Charlie Boule at No. 1, Reese Boire and Dana Lavalley at No. 2, and Bela Meyer and Delaney Faucher at No. 3 complete the sweep.
