CLEVELAND - Spencer Jones' first MLB home run was something to see.

In the second inning Tuesday night at Progressive Field, the Yankees' lefty-hitting outfielder drove a two-run shot to center that traveled an estimated 443 feet.

That clout, off a 1-0 cutter by Cleveland Guardians righty starter Slade Cecconi, gave the Yanks a 2-0 lead.

Jones, 25, was recalled from Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday, after Yanks' captain Aaron Judge went on the injured list due to a first right rib stress fracture.

Noted for his power swing, Jones had belted 85 home runs in 425 minor league games, across five seasons, at the time of his recall by the Yankees.

Tuesday marked Jones' 14th MLB game. Prior to his first at-bat Tuesday, Jones was batting .250 (8-for-32) as a Yankee with one double and three RBI.
