COLUMBIA — South Carolina women's basketball's 2026-27 SEC home-and-home series is with Oklahoma, the only team that beat the Gamecocks in SEC play last season.

The league announced the news on June 16, confirming which games the Gamecocks will host and which they will play on the road.

South Carolina and coach Dawn Staley will host Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, LSU and Texas A&M. The away trips are at Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Texas, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi State and Missouri.

Game dates and times will be announced later.

This is the third season of the home-and-home series, which were became the format after the conference added Oklahoma and Texas ahead of the 2024-25 season.

South Carolina's first series was with Texas, which it split 1-1 as each team won the home game. Last year, it was Alabama and Staley extended her undefeated streak against the Crimson Tide, winning both games.

Over the last three seasons, the Gamecocks have lost just two SEC games, as Oklahoma was the lone team to beat them in 2026.

They got revenge in the NCAA Tournament, as they beat the Sooners 94-68 in the Sweet 16.

Staley will be without four players from the 2025-26 roster. Madina Okot, Raven Johnson and Ta'Niya Latson were all drafted in the WNBA in April. Maryam Dauda's eligibility expired.

Most of Staley's new players got to Columbia the weekend of June 13, including Oliviyah Edwards, Jerzy Robinson, Kaeli Wynn and Texas transfer Jordan Lee. Freshman Kelsi Andrews just won a gold medal in Mexico in the 2026 FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup.

South Carolina's returners are set to return toward the end of June as summer practices begin.
