COLUMBIA — All 15 South Carolina women's basketball players are on campus for the summer.
Justine Loubens, a freshman from France, was the last player to arrive as she was still working through the visa process. According to a video from July 9, she is in Columbia.
Sports performance coach Molly Binetti posted a video of Loubens on her Instagram story with the caption "Bonjour."
The 6-foot-1 guard most recently played for La Roche Vendée Basket Club, where she averaged 6.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and shot 63.9% from the field in 24 games.
She committed to the program on April 29, becoming the 15th player on this year's roster for coach Dawn Staley.
The NCAA rule is that once summer school starts, teams can engage in sessions for a period of eight weeks.
The team has been back in Columbia since June 22 but some players trickled in afterwards.
Starting forward Joyce Edwards missed the first few days because she was still with USA Basketball. Sophomore guard Agot Makeer arrived June 30 because she got invited to training camp for Canada’s Senior Women’s National Team.
