Some big-name NFL free agents are still out there and looking for a new home. Some may come as a surprise, and others may not, because many of them are on the wrong side of 30. But the good thing is, the waiting game is standard when OTAs and training camps roll around, because injuries always pop up, and this is when players find a home that may have some age on them. Let's see who's left on the list.
Stefon Diggs - WR
Outside of the legal issues that Diggs had to go through, in which he was found not guilty of, many thought that injuries may be a setback for him, but all he did was help lead the New England Patriots to the Super Bowl while being a WR1 for them. He also produced another 1,000-yard season, his seventh in the past eight years. It's clear that he still has plenty left in the tank at 33, so I fully expect him to find a home quickly.
Jadeveon Clowney - Edge/OLB
Another 33-year-old player finds himself looking for a new city after 12 seasons in the league. In 2025, he played in 13 games and posted 8 1/2 sacks. In the right system, after moving around a bunch, Clowney could give a team a solid 3-4 more years of pass-rushing capabilities.
Deebo Samuel - WR
Deebo Samuel was last with the Washington Commanders in 2025, and will be 30 years old when the 2026 season starts. Although he may have lost a step, Samuel showed flashes of his old self while with the Commanders, and can still provide a spark as a veteran, tough wide receiver.
Bobby Wagner - LB
Bobby Wagner is still a tackling machine and is always around the football. At 36, the age isn't quite showing yet, given how productive he still is at the linebacker position. What he is still doing at that position is nothing short of remarkable. If he wants to continue to play, a team will definitely want him in the locker room and on the field as much as possible. A 10-time Pro Bowler and 6-time All-Pro should be a very high priority for many teams.
Keenan Allen - WR
At 34 years old, Keenan Allen can still get it done. He may not have 120 catches with 15 touchdowns, but he is still a reliable ball-hawking receiver. Last season, he caught 81 passes for 777 yards and 4 touchdowns. I am sure Allen wants to go to a contender to try and finish his career with a Super Bowl ring.
Honorable Mentions
Tyreek Hill, who will be 32 at the start of the 2026 NFL season.
Cameron Jordan, who will be 37 years old at the start of the 2026 NFL season.
Russell Wilson, who will be 37 years old at the start of the 2026 NFL season.
Von Miller, who will also be 37 at the start of the season.
