With just four regular-season games remaining before the SEC Tournament, Texas A&M's 75-71 victory over Oklahoma moved the Aggies one step closer to the Big Dance.
It was another nail-biter, but the Maroon and White found a way to escape Norman with their ninth conference win of the season. Head coach Bucky McMillan continues to exceed first-year expectations in Bryan-College Station after being picked to finish 13th in the preseason SEC rankings.
Before Aggie fans can begin booking their tickets and making plans for March Madness, many inconsistencies were displayed in the win over the Sooners that must be cleaned up entering the midweek contest against No. 20 Arkansas.
Texas A&M allowed 21 second-chance points against the 13th-ranked team in the conference while also shooting just 55% at the free-throw line. Graduate forward Rashaun Agee continues to dominate inside the paint for the Aggies, but the team has struggled to establish a physical presence beyond that.
The unit found its footing offensively, however, as McMillan's squad shot 43.5% from the field and 55.0% from 3-point range in the win.
Here are the best social media reactions from the Aggies' road victory over the Sooners, with a massive matchup against the Razorbacks looming:

Aggies boosting their résumé
FINAL:
A&M - 75
OU - 71
Things got scary towards the end, but overall a very solid performance on the road. Aggies never trailed the entire game, and when the offense went cold the defense got some key stops. Huge win for the tournament resume.

Texas A&M is exceeding expectations in Year 1 under McMillan
A&M was picked to finish 13th in the SEC in the preseason.
Texas A&M is now 9-5 and in 5th place.

Aggies tighten up and get the job done against the Sooners
Texas A&M drops Oklahoma, 75-71, and improves to 19-8 (9-5 SEC). Big Quad I win for the Aggies. They trailed for only nine seconds and tightened up defensively in the second half, holding the Sooners to shooting 25% (and 23.1% from 3). Rashaun Agee had a game-high 18 points. pic.twitter.com/GcflhVWZAj

More on Rylan Griffen's clutch performance
From my vantage point, Rylan Griffen wanted the ball late and he got his opportunity to seal it and put A&M up 72-67.
Bucky McMillan confirmed postgame that this crucial play was drawn up for Griffen: “We wanted to go to him, he’s been in those moments, he’s built for this.” pic.twitter.com/buGF1Wgnv5

Where are the Aggies on Joe Lunardi's bracket projections after the Quad 1 win?
Texas A&M is no longer among the “last four byes” after its Quad I win at Oklahoma. The Aggies were the second team listed in that section earlier tonight. https://t.co/aDtdHPmzhM
