IndyStar will be recognizing the top baseball players in Central Indiana with our players of the week poll, presented by YMCA of Greater Indianapolis.

Congratulations to Ryan Castetter of University for winning player of the week for Week 4. The Pepperdine commit went 7-for-15 (.467) with five runs scored, four RBIs, three doubles, one triple and one stolen base.
Here are the top performers from the past week.
Caldwell threw a complete game shutout against Avon, allowing just one hit, one walk and striking out seven.
Dininger pitched 13 innings over two appearances, striking out 26 while allowing just four hits and two earned runs. At the plate, the senior went 4-for-10 (.400) with one home run, three RBIs and two runs scored.
The Mississippi State commit was dominant in his start against Westfield. The lefty threw a complete game, allowing just two hits and one walk with 10 strikeouts.
The senior went 7-for-10 (.700) with three runs scored, two RBIs, one double and two stolen bases.
The senior went 5-for-15 (.333) with seven RBIs, four runs scored, one double, one home run and four stolen bases.
The junior entered in relief and helped the Shamrocks stay in the game, throwing three scoreless innings, allowing no hits and one walk, striking out four.
The junior went 5-for-10 (.500) with two doubles, one home run, three RBIs and seven runs scored. On the mound, Hamilton threw a 15-strikeout one-hitter against Bloomfield.
