What's kind of disconcerting is the contrast in the appearance of passing game when glennon came in. But, I think that was really just an aberration.

For the record, I've said all along that Rosen should have been watching from the sideline this entire season. Not just because of the idea that you want to bring a young QB along slowly (although that was part of it), but also because of horrendous and shameful state of the offensive roster, and, the coaching staff.

I knew Rosen wouldn't fare any better than Glennon or Bradford, and would get his @ss kicked every week to boot.

From all of those persons who chided, berated, and scolded me for saying we should have waited a year to start Rosen, I'll accept your apology now.

There is not any way to simulate NFL game speed. You have to experience it. Rosen now has seen and understands the speed of the NFL game. That is invaluable experience and key for him to take a step forward next season.

The biggest thing is see him doing wrong now is that he’s late with almost any throw downfield of any more than 10+ yards.
It is because he is looking for the rush which is slowing his progressions. The more he has to read, the later he is with his throws. Completely correctable issue.

The Cardinals ARE shutting down Rosen, they are just going about it by trying to get him hurt and put on I.R.

Totally agree Chop! Night & day difference since his first few games, all because of pressure.

Why did KC hold Mahomes out for a year Chopper?

Because they promised Alex Smith that they would give him the year to try and make a run which Smith was able to do. However, once it was locked up, they made sure to give Mahomes a start. If Bradford had us in a playoff hunt, Rosen wouldn't be starting either.

It was time to sit Rosen down yesterday. He was getting frustrated - throwing his helmet down on the bench, yelling at his receivers to come back to the ball, etc. If it gets to be the same against the Rams, sit him down as well.

Not the solution at the moment either.
He's a work in progress - hasn't done anything really weird, but hasn't lit up the field big time either.

Smart money says he needs the necessary time to develop, but how much time are the fans and Cardinal brass willing to give him?

Good question. Unless the organization surrounds him with the right pieces, there will be no way of knowing his ceiling.

the FO better figure out a way to get a NFL quality supporting cast for Rosen. The Cards are trying to win with a rookie QB,Fitz (a shell of his former self),David Johnson (one year wonder? ),makeshift OLINE,Idiot HC,rookie OC and a defense that folds like a cheap tent nearly every week.Certainly not a winning formula.I think Rosens survival instinct plus the utter chaos of this season has to be weighing on most of the players minds. has kicked in and he just wants to finish the season in a healthy condition.

That’s very scary news for Chiefs fans
Not really. The kid is athletic, mobile & can run from pressure & literally kill a defense hitting big plays, which he does repeatedly.

I’m not saying it’s doesn’t matter, but guys like Mahommes & Wilson are a rare breed where it’s not as big as big a deal as Rosen running for his life.

Scary for Rosen, not scary for Mahommes. It’s very easy to see the difference in pressure each week...night & day.
