Series recap: The Jumbo Shrimp finished with victories on Saturday and Sunday to take a series split from their road trip to the Charlotte Knights. Jacksonville is now three games behind International League leaders Memphis and Nashville.

Highlight: Andrew Pintar's go-ahead home run in the seventh inning pushed the Jumbo Shrimp in front to stay in the May 31 series finale in Charlotte.

Crustacean sensation: It's been a winning week for Pintar, who enters the Nashville series with home runs in three consecutive games. The 25-year-old outfielder batted .316 with six runs batted in during the road trip to Charlotte.

On deck: Three of the Milwaukee Brewers' top five prospects could be performing in Jacksonville in Sounds uniforms. Those are outfielder Luis Lara, shortstop Cooper Pratt and infielder Jett Williams, all age 22 or younger and all expected to get National League opportunities in the not-too-distant future. Lara has been the most effective of the trio thus far, going .349/.451/.518 with seven home runs, 26 RBI and 18 stolen bases.

Ballpark fun: Alongside the light promotions at the ballpark, the week begins with a more serious one. The Jumbo Shrimp will observe Lou Gehrig Day on June 2 in partnership with the ALS Association, honoring the legacy of the Iron Horse of the New York Yankees and raising awareness of the disease that took his life. The week also includes a chance to bring a canine companion to the park for Dog Day on June 3, plus Hair Band Night on June 5 and Kids Meme Day on June 7.

Probable pitchers Tuesday: To be determined.
