And you do all this AFTER you have let your HC go?
No.Not sure where you got that idea.

I didn't imply that Green should be fired first, and in other threads I've been crystal-clear on the point of not doing anything until there is a rock-solid plan in place first.

I wasn;t implying just asking. Thats the contention I have with all the people who want to fire Green. If we can get Kubiak, Herm Edwards, etc I am ok with letting DG go. But not until we know for sure.

I liked the hiring of Green. I now want his head on a stake after he runs the draft next April

Has this ever happened? I would think any prospective coaches would be extremely leary of taking the job after something like that.

I literally for the first time in his tenure wanted him gone after Sunday's disgrace. I've softened a little, but if we aren't in the playoffs next year....

I say definately give the guy his chance, 2 years to turn around what he inheritated is ridiculous. We're heading in the right direction. I say give Denny his 4 drafts, and 4 Free Agencies to get our collected butts in gear, we'll be much more talented than before he got here.

That said, the only guy available who I'd want to replace him with at the moment would be Gary Kubiak. Studying under Shanahan, offensive genius' I'm down with that and I think this is his last year as an assistant. Sean Payton could be a good one, but I'm not sold on him at all, but curious to see what he'll do when given the chance.

I voted yes in December, and still believe he is the man for the job. We need offensive lineman now. If we can run the ball, our 8th ranked defense will only get better.
