Blaze was on first. Lawlar hit a chopper to the second baseman who charged the ball and fielded it right in the base path. So he and Blaze collided and the rule is, Blaze “obstructed” the fielder, so he’s out.

How close was the play with Marte at the plate?

I think I'm ready to end this Barrosa experiment. This dude is an absolute black hole at the plate.
Tori really shouldn’t have pitched it for McCarthy because now we’re stuck. McCann would’ve been perfect in that situation as a pinch hitter and then Barr could’ve gone to the outfield.

Absolutely. I said the same thing. McCann is scorching hot. He could have used him off the bench then let Barrosa play in the outfield. I honestly have no idea what Torey's obsession with Barrosa is. He feels like he needs to get him in somewhere every game it looks like.
