I believe that if the Dbacks beat the Dodgers and the Cubs beat the Nats, the Dbacks would host - but let me check on that.

Makes the most sense to me. Someone suggested sitting him all together till that game, but I really think that's a bad idea to break the routine that drastically, and also ZG needs a purification start after that last one.

I agree. All of the starting what-will-be 4 pitchers.

And if I were going to rest the position players, I would do it now, but not during the last three games of the regular season, then have to shake out the cobwebs in what could be our first and final game.

The only semi-regular position player (2B platoon vs. lefty starters) in the lineup was Drury and he had both of our RBI's with a single and double (I believe).

It was a day to rest the starters. The outcome of the game was a foregone conclusion.

There is nothing wrong with giving your regulars a rest now that we've clinched the Wild Card home field advantage.
