Myron Piggie publicly called Roy a liar over this, said Roy knew full well what was going on when Piggie got arrested with Nike involvement in recruiting.

Of course the big reason Roy gave a public statement today is he knew Nassir Little was going to commit to UNC today, Little is the kid mentioned in the FBI documents where the FBI says there was a bidding war between shoe companies representing Miami and Arizona.

Arizona is allegedly saying that the so called bidding war was actually the under cover FBI agent, telling Adidas there was another offer and they needed to up the ante. That ARizona via their shoe company was NOT actually offering anything to Little, the agent just told Adidas they were to get them to further implicate themselves.

That one is going to be interesting, Miami is essentially making the same argument arizona is on Little. ARizona is saying we don't know anything about a bidding war we weren't involved we think that the FBI sting told Adidas that if they wanted Little at Miami, they had to top the bid Arizona's shoe company was making. Arizona is saying that bid never actually existed, FBI made it up to get Miami and Adidas to further implicate themselves.

And Miami is saying the same thing, we weren't involved, nobody authorized Adidas to do anything, we think the FBI invented that bid to get the others(Arizona and Nike) to implicate themselves.

In reality BOTH could be true, it's just incredibly unlikely that FBI agents would be dumb enough to actually document those charges if they can't document that at least 1 of those 2 companies was offering money to steer that player.

Both of them seem to be relying Little and his family insisting it didn't happen. And Little publicly decommitted from Arizona, having never actually committed to them, and his AAU coach is in jail over this.

IT COULD all be wrong, but it sure seems hard to believe the FBI is this bad

Interesting. Arizona didn't suspend anybody last night for the exhibition game, they play again tomorrow and at least so far no announced suspensions. Both Arizona and USC open on Nov 10th and as of now it's believed neither of them are going to suspend anybody.

So the question is do they just not know who the kids are, Auburn does, so Auburn is suspending, or is it because Arizona and USC are going to be really good, especially arizona, so they're all in win and hope the NCAA doesn't vacate later?

DeAndre Ayton is for real

Georgia Tech announces starting Guards Josh Oskogie and Tadric Jackson are both out for the year suspended for taking improper benefits, per the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Edit, AJC now saying Jackson's suspension appears to be 6 games and Oskogie 9 based on the amount of money involved. The school has self reported and is awaiting word from the NCAA. So possible both suspensions could be reduced by self reporting and sitting the players out.

Neither player makes the trip to China for the game against UCLA there.

Apparently USC played USF today in a scrimmage and again per Jeff Goodman, DeAnthony Melton did not play and USC will not comment on why. He was allegedly held out of the SDSU scrimmage but then a later unconfirmed report said he played and even started. Today USC sites are confirming what Goodman said, he was held out.

He is again the guy everyone thinks is the "rising sophomore" listed in the FBI report who took money from Tony Bland. There are conflicting reports one that Bland paid the parents, and one claiming Bland paid his brother and may have done so without DM knowing his brother had been paid.

So Auburn is holding out 2 kids they believe are named in the FBI report and USC is apparently holding out Melton, which implies schools that think they know which kids are mentioned, are holding them out, and schools who don't know are playing them
