The Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday will play at a rare time for fans on the West Coast: the morning.

The game against the Houston Astros is set for first pitch at 11:10 a.m. PT.

The game at Daikin Park in Houston begins at 1:10 p.m. local time, but that’s the Central Time Zone.

As a result, Dodgers fans should plan ahead if they want to watch Tyler Glasnow get the start.

Who is pitching on Wednesday for the Dodgers and Astros game?

Glasnow (3-0) will start on the bump for the Dodgers.

So far in 2026, he has an ERA of 2.56, WHIP of 0.828 and 47 strikeouts.

Stats like that are why Dodgers Nation’s Doug McKain ranked Glasnow second in the Dodgers’ starting rotation, behind only National League Pitcher of the Month Shohei Ohtani.

Yes, that’s ahead of World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto and the current NL leader in ERA, Justin Wrobleski, and his 1.25 ERA.

“Tyler Glasnow has put together a really good start to the season,” McKain said.

We’ll see if he can keep it going Wednesday morning.

As for the Astros, they’re starting Lance McCullers Jr., who has a 2-2 record, 6.32 ERA and 33 strikeouts thus far.

How have the Dodgers played so far against the Astros?

In the first of the three-game series, the Dodgers trounced the Astros 8-3.

After a team-wide slump and six games without a home run, the Boys in Blue smashed a pair of homers amid a hit parade.

The Dodgers will try to keep up the renewed offense Tuesday night when they face Peter Lambert on the mound.

Lambert has a record of 1-2 with a 3.52 ERA and 19 strikeouts on the year thus far.

The Dodgers are starting Ohtani, who won’t be hitting but who has been dominant on the mound so far this year. He has a 0.60 ERA and a 2-1 record with 34 strikeouts this year.

Instead, Dalton Rushing gets the leadoff spot as designated hitter on Tuesday night.

Presumably, Ohtani will return to lead off the batting order as DH Wednesday morning, though it likely depends on how he feels after pitching Tuesday night.

Are you excited for some morning baseball tomorrow?
